It is a question of heating a tight plenum from 3 to 10 cm high. The films heat the plasterboards in contact with them and radiate towards the R'BULL pro aluminium insulation which distributes the calories throughout the plenum. This installation technique allows to obtain a better temperature distribution on the whole ceiling.
Advantage of the solution: Economical because compatible with all types of plasterboard.
The insulation is plugged into the hangers slightly above the furrings, with a wall return in order to create a tight plenum. The airtightness is ensured by aluminium adhesive.
The fireproof heating films are unrolled on the underside of the furrings (metal rails). They are temporarily held in place by double-sided adhesive.
The heating films are electrically connected to each other and regulated by a programmable thermostat.
The plasterboard is placed in contact with the heating films. It is not necessary to use specific boards for this purpose because of the low temperatures applied.
