Installation tutorial for a Ceilingo heated ceiling

In this video tutorial, Olivier takes you through the installation of a Ceilingo heated ceiling, an invisible heating solution for a bathroom.

Insulating the ceiling

The ceiling starts out insulated between the rafters. Olivier adds an Airbul product, airtight, watertight and reflective to infrared light. It is fixed so as to leave an air gap between the existing ceiling and the reflective layer.

Building a thermal shell

Since this is a bathroom, the aim is to recover every source of heat. Olivier therefore builds what amounts to an igloo, with the insulation returning up the wall. Using aluminium tape, he forms an airtight thermal shell above the ceiling.

Fitting the heating films

The furring channels go up without touching the insulation. Double sided tape is applied to the underside of the metal framework to hold the heating films in place. They are then wired together.

The finished result

Olivier shows the finished job: a heating solution that is completely out of sight and that frees up the space in the bathroom while keeping it comfortable.
