In this video, Olivier takes you through pairing the Ceilingo thermostat with your router, and calibrating the temperature for a radiant heated ceiling.

Connecting the thermostat to the wifi

Olivier goes through the procedure for connecting the wifi thermostat to the router.

He shows how to add a new thermostat and enter the wifi code by pressing the “SET” and “OK” buttons together.

If the wifi symbol does not appear, he shows how to switch the thermostat off and on again, then repeat the operation.

Once the wifi symbol is confirmed flashing, he taps “Next”.

The wifi indicator goes steady, which means the thermostat is connected to the router.

Controlling the thermostat remotely

With the thermostat added, Olivier explains that the room can be renamed by tapping “Rename”.

He points out that the thermostat can be controlled remotely, from another room in the house or from outside it, over wifi or a mobile data connection.

Temperature changes take effect immediately, and the thermostat can be switched on and off with a single tap.

Calibrating the temperature

If the temperature shown on the thermostat is wrong, Olivier suggests switching it off, holding the “SET” button until the “A1” function appears, then using the “Up” and “Down” arrows to adjust the offset.

Switch the thermostat off and on again and the correct temperature is displayed.

Olivier then checks that the heating films are working, using a thermal camera.
