What is in the roll

R'BULL Pro 13 combines a polyethylene foam with sealed air bubbles and two faces of protected aluminium, over thirteen millimetres. The roll is 1.20 m wide by 20.90 m long, which is 25 m², and weighs 19 kg, about 775 grams per square metre. Those figures decide transport, storage and how many people are needed to fit it.

The properties that count beyond thickness

Reflection of radiation, measured at 95 %. Airtightness, obtained through the sealed bubbles. Watertightness and vapour tightness, which decide how it holds over time. And compression resistance, which is why it does not settle under fixings.

The normative framework

Emissivity is measured to ISO 22097:2023 and declared at 0.053, with an S factor below 0.03. The product falls under European Technical Assessment ETA 22/0178, BOLTHERM family. A technical assessment is not a certification, and we hold to the distinction: it describes what was measured, not a label awarded.

Service life

High density polyethylene and pure aluminium do not degrade the way organic binders do. The product does not settle and keeps its properties beyond fifty years, which is the only relevant timescale for a material closed in behind a board.

The detailed sheet is on the R'BULL Pro 13 page, and all the references on the thin thermal insulation category.

What to check on delivery

The roll should arrive dry, without a set crease and without a scratched aluminium face. A deep scratch is not only cosmetic: it cuts into the layer that does the reflecting. Rolls are stored upright, under cover, and never under a load that would crush them.
