Insulation and acoustic comfort come first

Before the sound emitting ceiling went up, the void was insulated. A closed thermal and acoustic envelope was created above the fabric.

That step limits heat loss and sound leakage, and it is the one that cannot be corrected once the fabric is tensioned.

A radiant heating ceiling over the whole area

Alongside the sound, the project included a radiant heating ceiling covering the full surface.

That system brings gentle, even warmth to the room, with no air movement and no radiator taking up wall space.

A careful installation for an even result

The audio cabinets were fitted above the future stretch ceiling with close attention to their position and their fixing.

Each component of the Magic Speaker system was set out to suit the acoustics of the room and to keep the coverage even across the seats.
