The result at a glance, from the job

Vertical format, filmed to be watched on a phone between two jobs. No explanation of method here: only the samples lined up on the plate, the temperature climbing, and the gap opening between them second by second. Enough to decide between two references without leaving the site.

Thin insulation, side by side

This video puts the thin insulation range on a bench and lets the thermal camera do the talking.

An infrared heated plate gives a single steady source, which is what makes the samples comparable.

The conditions are close enough to a real installation for the reading to be worth something.

On the plate: the range

The bench carries a selection of Ceilingo thin insulation:R'BULL Pro 13, the reference of the range against radiant heat,R'Flam Pro 6,R'BULL Pro 5, the entry point, and the R'Acoustic series (Alu, 10 and 20), which works on sound as well as heat.

An air gap sits beneath the samples, because a reflective insulation only performs where there is one.

Reading the result

What you see is the range compared against itself, which is what you need when you are choosing between two references for a particular job.
