Three millimetres and a self-adhesive face

Mirolia is a thin heating panel, made of a three millimetre technical insulation whose heating face is self-adhesive, protected by a silicone film removed at the moment of fitting. That is what makes it usable where nothing else fits.

The surface temperature

It is limited to fifty degrees. That limit is not a manufacturing constraint, it is a design choice: it defines what the panel can heat and rules out any use expecting a high temperature source.

What fifty degrees allows

Warming a surface, preventing condensation on a mirror, taking the chill off a cold wall. Those are specific, occasional uses, and they match exactly the profile of a three millimetre self-adhesive panel.

What fifty degrees does not allow

Heating a room. A panel of this nature does not replace an emitter sized for a volume, and saying so clearly avoids the only possible disappointment with this product.

Fitting

On a clean, dry and flat substrate. The adhesive does not make up for a dusty or greasy surface, and preparing the substrate determines durability more than the quality of the glue.

Connection

It belongs to the electrician, as for any heating element. The small thickness of the product changes nothing about that rule, and the position of the supply is decided before the protective film is removed. A bonded panel cannot be repositioned, and it is the one step of the assembly that accepts no second attempt.
