What arrives on site

The heating elements arrive at the project's dimensions, numbered, with the layout drawing. Nothing is cut on site. That is what allows a team of two to deal with a whole room with no workshop and no cutting, and it is what keeps the job clean.

The layout drawing

It shows the position of every element, the reference that goes with it, the route of the circuits and the location of the awkward points. It is the reference document during fitting, and the archive document afterwards: in ten years somebody will need to know what is above the fabric.

What is prepared before the lorry arrives

The supply waiting in the right place, the room emptied, and clear access. Those three points are for the client or the main contractor, and they often decide whether the agreed date is met.

The assembly order

It is not indicative. Each stage makes the previous one unreachable, which means a forgotten check requires opening up again. A well run job is recognised by the fact that nothing is done twice.

The full sequence is described on the installation page, and the preparation in detail on part one of the fitting.

The part played by the installer network

We do not fit everywhere ourselves. The system is designed to be assembled by drylining and stretch ceiling contractors trained in this method, who already know their trade and to whom we bring the heating side. That division is what makes lead times workable across the country.
