What it changes day to day

The door opens and closes like any other, it does not get hot enough to be a nuisance to the touch, and it makes no noise at all. The difference shows in two places: the room warms up without your seeing where from, and stored clothes stop being cold when you come to dress.

The point nobody expected: damp

A closed wardrobe against a cold wall is the place in a bedroom where the air stands most. That is where the musty smell appears, and sometimes marks of damp at the back of the shelves. A wall kept slightly above ambient removes the condition that creates them.

What it frees up in the room

A whole stretch of wall, the one the radiator occupied, becomes available again. In a child's bedroom or a spare room, that is often the difference between a desk that fits and a desk that does not.

Consumption, since the question always comes

A heated door does not consume less than a radiator of the same rating: a watt is a watt. What changes is how that power is used. A large surface at a moderate temperature needs less installed power than a hot spot to produce the same sensation, because the radiation reaches people instead of heating air that rises to the ceiling.

Control

The product is controlled remotely like the rest of our systems. In a bedroom, that mostly means programming a short boost before getting up and a shutdown during the day, which is where nearly all the possible saving on that room lies.
