A review of a heating system is read differently

A client can judge a sofa on the day of delivery. A heating system can only be judged after a full season, and a review written in the week of fitting says nothing about what really counts.

The first thing to spot

The date. A review published in January, about an installation fitted in October, covers three months of use in cold weather. That is the one with value, and it can be picked out in a second.

The second

The point of comparison. A client coming from electric convectors, one coming from a boiler and one in a new build are not comparing the same thing, and their reviews are not interchangeable.

The third

What is described precisely. A review naming a room, an area and a sensation is worth more than a glowing but general one, because it lets the reader place themselves relative to their own situation.

Mixed reviews

They are often the most informative. A reservation about a lead time, a finish or an expectation badly set says more about how a firm really works than a top mark with no comment.

What a review will never say

Whether the sizing was correct. That information only appears when it was not, which is why the preliminary study remains the most important point of a project. A satisfied client does not know that their installation was correctly calculated, they only know that they never think about it.

Professional testimonials are on the dedicated page, and made to measure on the sizing page.
